Embracing A Hebraic Lifestyle
Walking in God's sacred rhythms of time.
We are returning to our biblical roots—seeking to walk in the ways of the early church through biblical application, Spirit-led living, Kingdom-focused ministry, and fruit that remains.
As part of this journey, we align our lives with the Biblical calendar, gathering our families:
Weekly around Shabbat
Monthly for Rosh Chodesh (the new moon)
Yearly to honor the Feasts of the Lord
In addition to the Gregorian calendar, we embrace the Hebraic calendar—God’s original design for times and seasons. Below, you’ll find insights into the current biblical month and its prophetic significance for your walk today.
BIBLICAL MONTHS
Unveiling Abundant Blessings: Embracing the Fullness of God's Benefits Month by Month, Including the Joy of Rosh Chodesh!
In Psalm 103:2, the Lord instructs us to bless Him and not forget all His benefits. While we often associate this scripture with salvation and healing, it reminds us to acknowledge and appreciate ALL the blessings bestowed upon us.
Each month carries its own unique blessings and benefits, one of which is the celebration of Rosh Chodesh — the "firstfruit" of each new monthly cycle. This observance serves as a reminder of the goodness and provision of the Lord in our lives, highlighting the importance of recognizing and rejoicing in the blessings that come with each passing month.
Elul 5786 — The Sixth Month
The Plumb Line Has Dropped
40 Days to Reflect • Return • Realign • Recalibrate
Elul is a biblical season of teshuvah—returning to God and preparing for the year ahead.
Beginning with Elul and continuing through Yom Kippur, these forty days invite us to slow down, hear the voice of the King, and allow His truth to become the plumb line for what we're building.
This isn't about asking, “What have I done wrong?”
It's about asking:
“Am I aligned with God's design?”
Before you build higher, expand further, or carry yesterday's patterns into a new year, allow the Lord to show you what is straight, what has begun to lean, and what needs to be recalibrated.
The invitation of the sixth month is simple:
“Consider your ways.” — Haggai 1:5
One Scripture • One focus • One plumb-line question • One simple response each day

40 days of Reflection / Repentance in Preparation for Awakening / Refreshing!
Elul is the last month before we go into a new Biblical year on Rosh Hashanah, September 26th. The Hebrews of the Bible always took that last month to cleanse themselves from old things in their lives. Elohim doesn't want us to go into a new season with yesterday's weight and cares. Elul is a time to consecrate ourselves, cry out, and say, Abba Father, any area of my life where I'm held captive, any place where the enemy has come against me, to traumatize me.
Abba, I'm asking you to heal and deliver me from every weight that has bound me in this last season. The enemy loves to traumatize God's people. This past season has been hard for everyone. Let Holy Spirit wash over you with a cleansing flood of the Presence of Yeshua.
After Yeshua’s baptism by John, He was led in the wilderness for 40 days; during these days Jesus fasted, prayed, and was tempted by the usurper. Some scholars believe this 40-day period was during the month of Elul. In any case, these were days of preparation for a new thrust in Yeshua’s life - His earthly ministry began after this 40-day period.
Acts 3:19, "And now you must repent and turn back to God so that your sins will be removed, andso thattimes of refreshing will stream from the Lord's presence.”
Psalms 27 - Wait on the Lord Jews customarily read Psalm 27 each day from the first of Elul through the end of the fall festival season at Tabernacles.
Psalm 27 pictures the Lord sheltering His people during the day of trouble: “In the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock” (Ps. 27:5).
Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. (Ps. 27:14 NASB)
Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! (Ps. 27:14 TPT)
And it will be said on that day, "Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.” (Is. 25:9 NASB)
