DAY 34: NOT UNTO US BE GLORY

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your name give glory…” – Psalm 115:1

Welcome to Day 34: Humility Is the Safe Place for Favor

There are two kinds of leaders in Scripture:
One who touches God’s glory… and one who lays it down.

In Acts 12, King Herod gave a dazzling speech. The crowd shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not a man!”
And instead of deflecting the praise, Herod absorbed it.

The result? God struck him down. He touched the glory — and it cost him everything.

👑 HIS GLORY, NOT OURS 👑

Contrast that with David, the warrior-worshiper.
Every time he was lifted up, he bent low.
Every time he was crowned, he cast it back at God’s feet.
He declared: “Not to us, O Lord, but to Your name be the glory.”

This is the heart of true favor: radical humility.
Not false modesty — but fierce reverence. A life that knows: everything we have, everything we carry, and every breakthrough we walk in… belongs to Him.

Favor is safest in the hands of those who give it back.
Glory is weighty — and when mishandled, it crushes. But when returned, it multiplies.

If you're stepping into visibility, influence, or breakthrough, let today be the reminder:
Don’t touch the glory. Reflect it. Return it. Release it.
