Day 23: I Will Contend!
“I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your sons and daughters.” – Isaiah 49:25b
Welcome to Day 23.
As we journey through the promise of Favor, today reveals a side we often forget — favor fights for you. In Exodus 14, the Lord parted the sea because He was contending for His people. Favor doesn’t just bless — it defends.
🛡️ FAVOR IS YOUR SHIELD 🛡️
Sometimes the greatest evidence of God’s favor isn’t in what He gives — but in what He fights off.
In Exodus 14, Israel was stuck between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea. Families, children, generations were all under threat. But God declared:
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Then He parted the sea and contended with their enemies.
That’s the kind of favor you walk in — favor that protects, surrounds, and fights on behalf of your family.
You don’t have to fight alone.
You don’t have to fix everything.
You just have to stand in faith and let God do what only He can do.

Speak the names of your children, spouse, or family out loud today.
Declare God’s favor over them.
Ask the Lord to contend with what you can’t control and to bring breakthrough in every place of battle.

"My family walks in the favor of God. Our God will contend with our enemies! No weapon formed against our household will prosper. Heaven is fighting for our legacy!"
